View of river baga from Agauda Fort. This is how Portuguease had close watch on the ships coming to their territory.
The clouds and the shore form a very interesting complementary fg and bg.

Good one. What photo gear do you use? It seems you dont use filtes. Especially polarising filter. These preferentially pass light waves vibrating in a particular plane, enabling them to be used to cut down reflections from polarised light sources such as the sun and water reflection. By removing surface reflections they can produce an exaggerated colour saturation in images.

I like that the horizon is in the middle of this shot. Shame about the blown out sky though.

Great image. The horizon is so perfectly straight, and the earth and sky are so different here, at first I thought it was two photos put together.

what great clouds. a pity the flare makes the picture look flat.

This is a stunning shot. I love the way the ships line the horizon in the haze. It looks like you're getting better weather than us Canadians....

Wow, that's gorgeous. I love the ships in the distance.

I really liek this. I agree that the horizon is so straight it almost look like you pasted it in. Very rare to find this kind of perfect symmetry in the world. Really great job and I do like the composition of the colors. Authentic and accented at the same time. Thanks for coming over to my site.

Great shot - the ships do add a nice touch.

Love the 'blown out" upper-right contrast with the painful detail of the lower-left surf. Outstanding overall composition. You've communicated your impression effectively in the vernacular of Derek Riggs. Cheers.
